...everyone can make a difference, if only we try...... we do not have to be rich or famous, all we need to do is to watch, observe, learn and help. Changing the world takes one step at a time, and we are taking that first step.

A toast to Naufal and his team for spearheading GSS Social Entrepreneurs' very first interview! Good job guys! Below are some of the highlights of the event to share with everyone. This is the benchmark set by Naufal and team (Edwin, Suffi and Jiayi......Oh Vignesh was missed because he had a wedding heehee!), so the other teams better be pulling up your socks!

That's just for laughs. Jokes aside, when we arrived at Punggol 21 CC for the interview on Sunday 3pm, our interviewee, Ms Penny Low (MP for Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC & Co-founder of Social Innovation Park, among her many titles) was in the midst of a meeting. Shortly after which, she had to be present as the guest of honour for an emergency exercise in an open field at Meriden (a 5min drive away). Instead of taking a well deserved breather, she walked in for our session immediately and even thoughtfully provided finger food for us. She shook hands with everyone present and apologised profusely upon arrival. It was a rather humbling experience, for such an important lady to make time for us. I felt it was a good lesson on character development for the boys too.

Want to see more? Hope to heard Ms Penny Low's revealing her secrets to success 'live'? Watch this page for more updates!
